Police Force Under Scrutiny
A 48-year-old police officer at Fyns Politi (Funen Police) has been charged with numerous cases of abuse of position and breach of confidentiality. The sentence is up to three years in prison. According to the indictment, the police officer in question conducted a number of searches in the police databases “without proper cause,” and, in one situation, he allegedly created a fictitious case. The officer is also said to have shared confidential photo material.

5 Steps to Lasting Solutions
A reader of this blog wrote me an email with her own story. Reading and responding to this email made me think a bit about what I had actually done to end my stalking nightmare after I realized in late 2019 that you cannot escape gang stalkers. The five steps below constitute the route I have taken to go from an absolute nightmare to what will hopefully be a lasting solution.

Monsters
By monsters, I mean a group of seemingly sociopathic voyeurs who degrade and reduce human beings to objects and entertainment. They seem to revel in humiliating and destroying their human targets, hiding in the shadows, behind desks, and screens. They demonstrate undisguised contempt of the law, freedom, and human dignity, and their statements reveal alarming convictions.

Stuck in Stick’o’tory
So, as I am sure you can understand, although my wish to leave Denmark is an escalating neediness, I cannot leave until I know no one will bother my mom ever again and the monsters are gone for good. Because I know what these monsters are and what they are capable of, how well-connected they are to certain unpleasant characters in France, what extreme opinions they hold, and how they come at you when you are alone.

Estrangement Will Darken
Over the past months, I have realized that the leap from estrangement to revulsion is very short.

Witch Hunts In The 21st Century
Denmark may have stopped burning witches a few hundred years ago. However, witch-hunting still appears to be a recreational activity for misogynist men and the weak and stupid women who stand by them. Today malicious people with low self-esteem and other shortcomings don't torch your life with fire, though. They do it with libelous slander.

Fall
I Love Stories & The Fall! Not even a private primary school in the 1980s, an almost Marxist high school in the 1990s, nor Comparative Literature studies at an über leftish university in Denmark managed to ruin my love for books, stories, and voices – nor my liberal beliefs and outlook on life. It often felt as if they tried, though.

Don’t Give Me Numbers!
I know it is paw-sible to love a human with all your heart. But I would take a dog over a human any day. Dogs are people, too, and in my opinion, they are much better people than humans. They have bigger hearts, and, unlike most people, they are 100 % loyal.

Darkness
“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.”
Tom Stoppard

All Shall Die
“Certain, ‘tis certain; very sure, very sure: death, as the Psalmist saith, is certain to all: all shall die.”
— Shakespeare, Henry the IV, Part 2, Act III, scene II
