A Parisian Nightmare, Part 2
As the weeks went by, Sofie tried to ignore the monsters’ presence, but it was almost impossible because Herbert and Oscar were very loud human monsters. Sofie also tried to ignore the murmur whenever she passed one or more of the residents in the building. She could conclude that the extreme lies had spread and festered by now.
Human beings – they are hard to live with, but it’s illegal to shoot them!

Nine Weeks in Paris
We all want to go home. Rats return to the safety of their sewers; refugees long for bombed-out cities, and Navalnyj returned to Russia, most likely knowing what his fate would be. Life’s hard, and then you die, and troubles and tragedies will find you, no matter where you are, so it is always better to be where you feel at home in your heart. Denmark stopped being my home long ago, so over the years, I created a new one in Paris. And in 2019, I wanted to go home.
